A1 – Project Management, Evaluation, and Monitoring
Our management approach is based on a comprehensive set of principles and methodologies that ensure a cohesive and effective partnership. The coordinator, AHORA, takes a leading role in the management of the project, adopting a holistic approach. The management strategy underlines the partnership’s commitment to the success and effectiveness of the EMPOWERSDGS project. The partnership prioritises seamless coordination and information sharing throughout the project lifecycle by identifying impact measures and potential challenges, as well as frequent monitoring reports and digital meetings.
A2 – Gamifying SDGs Learning for Inclusion Research
During activity 2, partners will explore good practices related to the SDGs in different European Union countries, with a particular focus on initiatives that benefit vulnerable groups. The collection of best practices will be included in the two outputs of this Activity, the “Gamifying SDGs Learning for Inclusion Research” and in an interactive virtual “Best Practices Map” on this project website. The results of Activity 2 will be useful for the subsequent development of the training curriculum and the gamification experience.
A3 – Training Curriculum for professionals and the youngsters
The main objective of this Activity is to develop a comprehensive training curriculum titled ‘EMPOWER SDGss Training Curriculum’ that equips both professionals (youth workers) and vulnerable youth with the knowledge, skills, activities and tools needed for effective SDGs learning. The Training Curriculum will be a pedagogical tool that will help learners gain basic understanding of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 SDGs, and will serve as a guide for professionals (youth workers) to later implement the Pilot Sessions. It will include an introduction to the 2030 Agenda, the importance of the active role of young people at local, national and international levels in relation to climate change and in developing a sense of responsibility and participation in society, as well as a comprehensive study of the 17 SDGs.

The EmpowerSDGs Gamification Experience will be tested by professionals from the partner organisations in the 1st Capacity Building. During the 2nd Capacity Building, they will be trained on how to teach the training curriculum. The next stage of this Activity is the piloting phase with the target groups. 20 youth workers and 20 vulnerable young people from the participating countries will take part in the piloting sessions.
A6 – Dissemination, communication and sustainability
The main results of this Activity will be the development of the project dissemination strategy and the implementation of all promotional activities. The Multiplier Events in each partner country (Spain, Serbia, Turkey) and the Final Conference in Athens, Greece will be organised under this Activity. The active use of the social media accounts and the dynamic updating of the website will maintain a critical mass of regular visitors and give the project high visibility.
